Taking advantage of the efficiency benefits provided by evacuated tubes, combined with heat pipes and glass wool insulation, the AP solar collector represents the latest in thermal solar technology. 

Apricus AP Solar Collectors possess two main advantages over traditional flat panel designs, resulting in up to 40% increased heat output; unlike flat panels which only obtain peak light exposure at midday, evacuated tubes are round, and so passively track the sun throughout the day. Evacuated tubes also have a vacuum space which insulates against heat loss, this is extremely advantageous during cold conditions and when tank temperatures are elevated.
